SUNDAY EVENTS:

The Crèche (birth to 3 years old)
Available at the 10am service throughout the year, except on Christmas day
In the Stepping Stones Cottage (Follow the path in front of The Annex and through the gate)
The carers are parents and other volunteers who are rostered for once every month or 5 weeks.
Provides a gentle start to a child’s church experience, where parents often forge bonds of friendship and get to know others at the same stage of life.

Stepping Stones (3 – 4 year olds)
In the garden and Wendy house of the Stepping Stones Cottage
A warm nurturing environment and a structured programme of activities, singing and age-appropriate Bible Stories.

Noah’s Ark (pre-schoolers – the two years before they enter Grade 1)
In the Bruce Evan’s Room, and in the garden behind the Annex.
A structured programme of Bible teaching with singing and crafts to reinforce the theme, geared to the level of activity of this age group.

Children’s Church (Grades 1-7)
Meets upstairs the Annex
Aims to provide a child-centred experience of worship, prayer and teaching, dividing into a junior and senior group for the talks.
Divides into small groups according to grade for discussion and activities to reinforce the teaching and provide more personal contact with each child.
Each small group has a leader who is dedicated to being there each week.

All Ages Services
These services are held in the holidays and at least once a term. There are no Children’s Church groups on these days. The crèche continues to function. (Stepping Stones functions during the term)
These are services where people of all ages can come together to worship God and learn from and be enriched by each other.
The teaching aims to be scripture-based, simple, relevant and accessible.
Communion is shared if it is the 1st or third Sunday of the month.

FRIDAY EVENTS:

Oasis
For all children in Grades 4 – 7
Meets in the Annex on Friday evenings from 6.30pm until 8.00pm, unless otherwise arranged.
Aims to provide an environment where children can have a fun social time in a safe, supervised setting.

ANNUAL EVENTS:

Children’s Camp (Grades 5 – 7)
Provides a more extended time of relationship-building, learning and, most importantly, fun and action!
Usually at Camp Faraway in Noordhoek

Christmas Crib Service
An interactive service at 5pm on Christmas Eve, where even the youngest children can take part.
A dramatized retelling of the Christmas story.
