Young Adults
So this is the place where we're supposed to say how wonderful we are, how exciting the vibes are, that we're enjoy gathering together for food, adventures, worship, teaching and sharing stories of what God is doing among us... But we'd rather you visit us and see for yourself! Below are some details of what we're up to, but visit back soon as there's a lot on the horizon for 2012.
2012 Camp
Our camp took place fromt he 17-19th Feb and what a weekend!
Connect Groups
Connect groups are the what Christ Church calls the smaller and more intimate groups that meet on a weekly/fortnightly basis, and the place for personal sharing, accountability and diving deeper into Scripture together. Post camp we’re establishing three new groups, so if you’re not part of one of these meaningful small groups please consider joining in, as we have a real sense that this is where God is saying we should invest in.  The bigConnect Group
Once a month the various smallConnect groups will be getting together! One big connect group so we can connect across the ages, and specifically be a welcoming place to bring friends and new people. The focus will rotate on a three month basis, with the following three emphases: gathering for spiritual growth, social vibes and outreach. It’s called PULSE because…. You’ll have to just ask why! Here’s an idea of what we’ll be up to, but watch the facebook group for more info:

Red Frogs
This is an awesome ministry and oopportunity to serve! Many CCK young adults are involved in serving on the streets of Claremont on Thursday evenings, O Week, other parties, Plett Rage and a stack more. UCT Campus Ministry
This year we're tried to up our game with ministry to students. We've started some new connect groups, had a stand at Plaza week, Orientation week involvement, Sunday lifts to Christ Church, Red Frogs, and much more.
Sunday evening service @ 18h00
Of the three Sunday worship gatherings, this is the one most geared towards young adults. Join us for worship, teaching, communion, prayer and one of a number of ad-hoc social get togethers afterwards – favourite destinations are Banana Jam, Burruso’s, Spur or someone’s house…

Opportunities to serve
There are many areas of ministry we can plug you into. Some examples are our youth ministry (leaders needed!), worship groups, ministry among the poor, prayer teams and even helping run our young adult events (and this website!).
